I do with my husband and it's in some ways the best thing ever because I get to work how and when I want and it also means I get to stay at home raising my daughetr. However, it is stressful and hardwork and having employees is sometimes worse than having a child plus all the paperwork can be a nightmare. The good side is that the work and effort is for ourselves and hopefully in the long term will help us achieve some of the things we would like to do.

In the process now of trying for financing for a small retail store so Yes I want to own my own company. Why? Because I can do it better than most of the companies I see doing the exact same thing, because I am tired of hearing a boss tell me to focus less on customer service issues than on sales issues, because people deserve a break when you can save them money with a less expensive fix than what your boss wants you to sell them.

I do want to have my own company and are working on it at this time. It is very stressful right now especially since I also work a full time job. I think that it will be rewarding down the road.

I refuse to be a slave to myself. This is what happens when you own your business. If folks think it's better owning the business, make sure you all look into everything that it entails before jumping in. It'll be harder to say "I quit!!!" than if you were employed.

So now that I no longer work and have been offered (and can accept and afford) all sorts of business proposals, I prefer to let someone else do the work and have the head aches. Let the investment bankers and managers earn their commission!

I do love to own my own company and be my own boss!! It's awesome! I work when I feel like it, I take off when I feel like it, I answer to no one! I love it... I'm such a stubborn girl and I couldn't stand working for people and letting them tell me what to do and let them think they were better than me because they were in a higher position than me. I don't have any employees under me but if I did I would never ever treat them that way...EVER!

yes, Iown my own photography studio. I was tired of working for other photography companies like Sears and Wal ~ Mart Studios and they did not want topay you. Sears is worst than wal mart. Sears wants you to sale no less than $125.00 of photos, but they only pay you $6.00 / hr. Do the math. Christmas season you'd work your but off, maybe 8 hrs a day and sale $2000.00 of photos. they paying you $48 and they done made $1952.00. The lab only charge them pennies toprint their photos. Thats what motivated me to open my own studio.

Because you might be comfortable working for someone else, but you'll never get rich that way. In a sense, it's the American Dream.
