2 Verizon Techs have told me that Verizon DSL will not work with the Vista O/S at this time. My Vz DSL has worked fine for 2 years on my XP. I just purchased a notebook with Vista and the dsl software won't load.
Is anyone else affected by this. Does anyone have Verizon dsl and Vista (premium) working? Thanks

Funny...I just went through the same thing last night with a friend of mine. Brand new laptop (vista home premium) and DSL service. Tried the CD, no go. I called tech support, talked to two women who couldn't help me. They said the registration process doesn't work with Vista. They gave me a new username and password for the DSL router. The router shows as 'connected', but I can't get any web pages to come up in the browser. I'm going to take an XP laptop over to their house and try completing the registartion process that way....THEN try the Vista laptop.

Thanks

Brother, I think you must have got some Verizon dummies,
on the phone.

And why do you need to install that crap, just set the PC
to look for a signal.

I don,t ever load that junk on those DSL disks, you dont need anything else, unless you want their "branded junk"
