That's so wrong! They were both underage and they both agreed to it. He didn't rape her. She wanted to do it. That law should be abolished! This is so unfair. The girl admited she let him do it. It's not like 18 year old with a 15 year old. Theyre both children. I pity him. It shouldn't be like this.

Because a 15 year old is too young to consent. He was old enough to know better. He committed a crime.
Maybe 10 years is a long sentence when there was only 2 years age difference. That doesn't mean he didn't commit a crime.

As far as I'm concerned the guy did not commit a crime. He was 17! There is only a two year difference. Any American who believes this guy commit ed a crime, obviously doesn't care about freedom.

They did change the law but in Georgia I guess they're too backward and conservative to review such a harsh sentence.

because some of our laws are antiquities -- that is why. the law in that state --states so -- and the 17 yr. old male did not know. of course he realizes now that it was not worth it. hope it helps. case closed for us. hope they change the law.
