sounds like an SOB to me those are his kids and let me tell you if you let him do this your in the wrong too the kids will grow up and they will hate him and you for letting him. fight for your kids don't let him give up on them just because his gf has kids to bad that she got with the wrong man who doesn't want to be with their kids what message does this send to your kids he can be a father to someone else kids but not his own.. wrong wrong wrong...as for your Q's if you let him he's no longer responsible to them spiritually financially health insurance nothing.......so don't let him off that easy fight fight and i think there is no judge in the world that will let him off that easy unless you let him....

I deal with this question everyday.
Giving up his legal rights to see his kids does not mean he will have to stop paying child support. He has a financial responsibility to support them unless and until someone else assumes that responsibility (by adopting them.)
So, yes, he will still have to pay child support, because thats the law.

If he gives up parental rights if you remarry your new hubby can adopt the children. Your X is by law required to pay child support until the children reach the age of majority even if he gives up parental access to them.

Contact your attorney to ask about the details of CS in your state.

He can't just walk away from your kids - he fathered them, he needs to pay for them! Contact a child support agency and ask them what you need to do. I wish you luck, how terrible for your children!

I'm pretty sure if you let him give up rights that means no child support. You may want to think twice about this or better still, get a good lawyer and let your ex pay for the lawyer.

Depends on what state you live in. You should still be able to get child support.

Once he gives up rights to his kids, he will not have to pay child support. He has to have your O.K. to give up his rights, so don't let him, if you need the money.
