Sounds like a gorgeous combo with your skin!!! I would imagine to stick with the same shade for shoes, or possibly black or silver, but no light shades. Good luck honey, it's nice to know some people think beyond pink and baby blue!

i have dark hair and olive skin also, i would say the best colour dress you could get would be red, it stands out and makes dark hair and olive skin look beautiful. I would say black shoes to match the red dress and for the bottom of the dress to be flared out, just touching the floor, you'll look a million dollars and everyone will notice you :)
However if you want to stick with the green, i would suggest black shoes also, (black goes with anything) and for the dress to be slightly flared a the bottom.
Hope this helps, good luck and have fun!

I wore a dark forest green halter dress to my junior prom and i've got olive skin and dark brown hair - I received tons of compliments. Wore black heels with it. However that was 6 years ago and I know that brighter and bolder colors are more popular and in-style now.

The Forest Green would be HOT with your olive skin tone! But i would suggest you go with a brighter green such as uh let's say turquoise...shoes should be at least the same color as your dress or traditonal black open-toed pumps!
Good Luck!

Beautiful choice.
Red is (reputedly) a good contrast colour for green (though not always good for olive skin-tones) - a mustardy green (again not always good for olive skin-tones) is a complimentary colour for forest green ... depends on what you are looking for really.
Personally I think a dark silvery grey would go well with your choice of forest green.
Try a colour wheel...link pasted in case you don't have one.
Good luck, I'm sure you'll be the Belle of the ball!

Olive sounds great with green. Purchase the see thru shoes on www.PromDressShop.com style 950. You can open up the heel and put forest green beads in the heel or rose petals or somethign that coordinates with the dress.

Boys love confidence. Go for a bold red dress, slim fitting, understated and wear your hair up. Olive skin looks fantastic in lit environments if it appears slightly moist; try tiny amounts of baby oil applied just before you leave for the event, or in a bath. Have a great time, and always wear a smile.

sounds like a reall nice dress tht will suit you.
For the shoes i would choose black bcos you don't want 2 much green
For the bottom of your dress i would try n keep it simple so not puffy just straight down with mayb a bit of a flare probs down to your calf or ankle.
Depends on your body type really and what your comfortable with.

If you have an olive complextion and dark hair a light colored dress like pale green, pink, light blue, would be stunning. If you're going to go for forest green, shoot for light shoes.
