When I am in the country it is called supper and lunch is called dinner. In the city it is dinner and the afternoon meal is lunch!

When my sister was in England (back in the 1970s), the noonday meal was 'dinner', the late afternoon was 'tea', evening was 'supper'.
At home, the last meal was 'supper' if a light and informal occasion, 'dinner' if heavier and posher.

i call it Dinner..i find that easier to remember and it's more traditional:)
