First of all, you should see a medical specialist whenever you have valid medical concerns. Seeking responses from an online community may provide a false sense of security to an otherwise serious medical problem. That being said, it is likely a result of the extremely dry conditions this winter. Try a humidifier in your room. If that doesn't work, remember little Ralphie's (Simpsons) words of wisdom" "The doctor says I wouldn't get so many nose bleeds if I only kept my finger out of there".

It's just one of those things that some people are prone to nose bleeds and others not. If you've never had nose bleeds before then you might have an infection which is making the vessels swell so when you blow your nose the little capilliaries are rupturing. You should go for a check you might need something to help you fight off an infection. If your nose bleeds when everything else is fine then it might be raised blood pressure, i.e. some people also get nose bleeds when their blood pressure is high and a nose bleed acts as a safety valve, releasing tension/pressure. In either case go to docs to be on safe side. Good luck.

If it is cold weather where you live and you have your heat on in your home, most heating systems are very dry and this causes the nasal passages to dry up and when blowing your nose you can have "a little blood" because of the dryness of the air, and that would go along with the sore throat and blocked nostril- sinusitis is an infection in your sinuses and you may be on your way to having this- see you family doctor- it's not serious but it can become painful and annoying- make sure you mention to him what type of heating system you have in your house- like hot air is the worse- that means there is a lot of dust and allergens floating around in the air in your home----oh, quick test-- if it is cold outside where you live, when you go out in the cold, after about 5 minutes, does your nasal passages feel better? If so, it's because the air is too dry in your home--- see you doc and he will discuss adding moisture to your air in your home and probably give you a nasal spray and antibiotic for the sore throat....hope you feel better.......

it sounds like you need a humidifier. the air in your home is dry so your getting nose bleeds. if you dont have a humidifier just boil some water on the stove and stand over it while it boils breathit in through the one nostrol and it will help the nose bleeds i promise. good luck and i hope you feel better.

It has a lot to do with this time of year, the vessels in your nose are very close to the surface so with the heat on in cars, houses etc your becoming more dehyrated which causes blood vessels to become more irritalbe causing the bleeding. Stress and high blood pressure can be part of it too.

If the bleeding continues check the consistancy of the colour .Then you can tell your doctor .He will know then what the cause is ,if you get dizzy at any time dont delay .In rare cases nose bleeds indicate
a mild stroke relieved by the nose .

Is the air dry where you are at most of the time? The membranes in your nose are dry and cracket most likely. Try getting a humidifier and put it in your bedroom. If that doesn't work, go see a doctor.

You could have a family history of nosebleeds. It's probably not a big deal. You may just have a family history of nosebleeds, and coincidentally, just have a cold. Feel better.
