Actually a glass of wine does the trick for me....but, it seems like you're too young to drink!
So, for you I recommend a glass of warm milk dear!

Have you ever tried meditation? If not you should try it, it helps a lot with many problems and can help you drift off to sleep. Not being able to sleep on a school day may be the fact that your mind is racing along, thinking of the next day (school), meditation helps to blog away these thoughts that you can't get rid of.
if you try to meditate and you can't, then try try again, you will succeed. Focus on one thing, like a candle or a colour, but make it simple, when other thoughts come to mind and the focused image is taken away bring it back.
I also like to smoke a little happy fags, that helps me.

You might have heard this before, but it does actually work, imagine someone writing the numbers 100 down to 1 on a blackboard in your head, the lowest i can remember getting to is 15. If that doesnt work, then in the daytime, dont eat many high energy foods, and you'll be tired soon enough. If I reallly cant get to sleep, I write in my diary or listen to talk based radio, or music.

Yeah if you can't sleep it's usually because you have loads of thoughts going round in your mind. Give youself a break from trying and write down everything you are thinking then your mind will be clearer and there will be less on it so hopefully should be able to sleep.
Hope it works cos you really do need to sleep, its good for your body and your mind.

wow i wish i could wake up at 5:30 on weekdays, anyways ya i think you should write out anything thats bothering u, even if u think this wont work or is dumb, just do it! trust me it will work. write down anything and everything on your mind or if u dont like writting talk with someone about it, the problem with this is ur not always 100% honest with them and yourself. let it all out :)

try to study in morning and play in day or evening.
and you can try to do walking for one or two KM in evening will help to your mind also. this can help you in studies also.
and one more thing if you can do yoga and meditation will be an extra benefit for you.
try to do some workout or dance in evening which will help you to get a good sleep at night.

Do not waste time put it to good use. Study.
But most important thing is that you take rest if you cannot sleep, sleep is the best thing.
But if you cannot then take rest.

try chamomile tea then put in ear plugs and put on a face mask.
If that does not work I take a light sleeping pill.
