A girl who I work with said she wanted to clear the air (I thought everything was ok). She said to me:
She wants us to get on at work
Told me that I should drop the 'attitude'
She wants to trust me and hopes that I don't back stab her e.g. talk about her behind her back
She wants to socialise after work i.e.get to know each other better-if work stays at work
Meaning???
Why did she feel the need to 'clear the air'???
Suggestions?Advice?
She has a Boyfriend of 2 YEARS—have heard he won’t settle with her,there is trouble bwt them.Colleagues say we have a love/hate WORK relationship and that we do flirt with each other
Says she don't do 1 night stands, told me that she’s only had 3 boyfriends,said what she looks for in blokes
Colleagues say there is tension bwt us but don't know what it is-neither do I!
The flirting has increased,smiling more,emails,inviting me to join her+mates on breaks....

Shes lining you up as the next boyfriend before she lets go of the one she has at the moment. She clearly likes you and she is trying to get herself noticed by you! I would not do all the things she is doing unless I was keen on getting to know you in a boyfriend sense! All you need to decide to do is go along with it if you like her or steer clear if you don't!

Hang out with her outside of work. At the worst, she just wants to be friends with you, which isn't a bad thing. At best, she wants to dump her bf and sees you as the next step in her life. Hard to say what the hell is going on inside a woman's head at any given time. That's why you gotta take a chance and try to figure it out.

maybe she likes to hang out after work. maybe shes afraid that she will get fired if she doesnt focus on her work and daydreams about U. i think she wants to spend time with u but work is important to her & maybe she really likes this job so...that means that she wants to get to know u better AFTER work.
