Girls....Would you date a guy who is 6'3", 195 lbs., was physically fit, handsome, funny, kind.....but had a large scar on his hand due to a childhood accident??
I'm they guy and I'm kinda self-concious:(

sure! scars r HOT! on guys anyway. i think its very masculine for a guy to hav scars it makes em seem strong. don't be self conscious u got nothin to worri about.

If I were single I would date a guy w/ a scar on his hand.
In fact, I married a man that endured many many childhood surgeries and has a bunch of scars from various activities. It is not a big deal. It just gives him character

Yes of course. You're worried about nothing - my bf has a HUGE scar on one foot from a childhood accident, and he always goes on about how disfiguring it is, and I can only see it if I look really closely.

ok - yes, but i wouldn't date an insecure 6'3", 196lb physically fit, handsome, funny, kind guy who's worried about a silly scar! personality is Key to us gals! and kindness.. and to be treated like we're special!

Most people don't really notice scars or flaws, especially on the hand. If anything it should be an attention grabber ( my what happened to your hand....), unless you hate talking about it.

I agree that the insecurity is a turn off. Look at it that it gives you character, it's something no one else has along with the story behind it. Always look at the cup half full, not half empty & all else will fall into place! Sounds hot to me!!

totally. it's a battle wound - and if you are still funny and kind, even after having to deal with growing up with that scar, its an even better sign!!
