First of all, it is blasphemous to talk about YOUR President that way.

President Bush has degrees from Yale AND Harvard. He had to be smart to get in and graduate! For those who think that it's his public appearances that look bad, it's probably a result of the liberal media that will stop at nothing to make our President look bad.

Very un-American.

And if he's capable of all the things the libtards accuse him of, then he's a genious.

Oh my...Let's see. What you're really trying to say is that in Un-American to Criticize a GOP President. I'm sure when Clinton was doing something stupid...you were the first point out his failures as something stupid. I'm quite sure you were not defending the office of the Presidency back then. So now you're guilty of hypocrisy. Next, according the George HW Bush (Sr.) memoirs, George W. was not even the smartest child of his family. He got into Harvard and Yale on the Rich Boy affirmative action program and not on his own merits. His resume is so bad you would not hire him at your business...but yet he's running the country and you still trying to trick me into thinking he is somewhat smart. COME ON! NOW I NEED A BREAK.

Yes, he did get into Yale. He was also a C-student. Also, you say that the liberal media makes his public appearances look bad- mate, he looks horrible on Fox News. Fox is not exactly liberal media.

It is un-American to deny people the right of having their own opinion. Be a big kid. Accept the fact that some people just do not like your precious Georgie. I'm assuming you did not like Clinton, he was president- does that mean you are Un-American?
Didn't think so.

To the person using the insult "libtard"- come on. Grow up. I'm fifteen and I don't insult conservatives in such a manner.

Blasphemous? The president is God? Even Clinton?

He did not have to be smart to get into Yale and Harvard. Maybe to graduate, but I wouldn't count on it.

People call him stupid because he's destroying our nation. If he's not stupid, he is a traitor, and that's too much for some people to believe.

By the way, if he IS a traitor, it is possible that the bad speech is a deliberate effort to make less eloquent Americans identify with him, or to make us think his disastrous policies come from stupidity and not from sabotage and war profiteering.

I agree with you - but not in the way you hope I do !!

I believe it is not the leaders fault entirely, although, as the elected leader, the buck stops with him/her !!

He takes his instructions from the many hidden mandarins and media moguls who are THE ones who actually rule the Nation.

As the elected leader, he should have the balls to get rid of these "advisors" and remember the reasons he went into politics at the beginning.

I agree George W Bush is well educated - money was spent providing that - but, he's become a misguided puppet due to the system that operates in Government today.

I also believe that both USA and UK leaders were chosen because they are the most malliable men to manage by these hidden mandarins.

It's ok to air your views on the PERSON, but wrong to denegrate the Office of Pfresident or Prime Minister.

On that premise then, the blame has to be with you - the voter !!

Unfortunately, it's not the voter who makes the choice of the leader of any particular party up for election :-(

In that, we do not have a choice !

It is not blasphemous. Blasphemy is talking badly about God and or His plans. Go to any religious book you want (including and especially the Bible), and you will find that all disagree with current governments. The Bible says that they are a necessary evil for the moment to maintain order, but it still says they are evil. Bush can think all he wants that he has God's backing, but God made it quite clear that Bush is wrong in that idea (because Bush is trying to take the power and position of leadership that belong to God and God alone).

However, to your current question of why they see him as stupid. His degrees from Yale and Harvard could be seen as invalid, they came at a time when monetary contributions did more to get you in then actual capability did. They came at a time before the SATs or even GPA were used to help decide, or before extracurricular activities or volunteer work or whatever else. Bush got in because Bush Sr. paid enough to get him in.

Still, while that could be argued I tend to agree he did still earn that C average that allowed him to graduate, so he must have something upstairs (though certainly not as much as you seem to think). We must look to his current actions to decide.

I disagree with the idea of the liberal media making him look bad. The idea that the media is liberal at all is questionable, but lets say for argument's sake that it is. One would still point out that the media never actually said anything, they simply let the cameras roll. No one told Bush to talk about the "s**t" of the Lebanese and Iraqis while he was talking to Tony Blair (and Bush should have known better than to shoot off his mouth with so many cameras and mikes around anyway).

No one told Bush that lying to get people into a war was the best way to go; and even if Darth Cheney did, one must remember that Bush is the president and therefore the one with the power (he could have said no).

But I do agree with you on some of this, for who of us can forget that if we fool Bush once, shame on him; but if we fool him twice, uh...uh...well we aren't going to fool him again. Remember that when you are putting food on your family tonight. Mission accomplished and God bless America.

Well its kinda vogue to be on the Bush is stupid bandwagon of course.

I will admit he does same some lame stuff sometimes, but I know he is intelligent.

They said the same kinds of things about Dan Quayle. Remember him. That guy said some things that made anything Bush ever said look smart. Yet Dan was actually intelligent. It just didnt always show lol.

Also having a texan accent doesn't help Bush out vs the people who are just looking for an excuse to make fun of him on something.

Most of the people throwing these jabs I doubt have ever graduated college much less have an MBA from Harvard lke Mr. Bush has. Just because you disagree with someones policy -- even strongly disagree, does not make the other person stupid. In fact the ones throwing all the character assignations actually look stupid because they don't have any better ideas themselves unless you want to count redeploying the troops to Okinawa as an idea.

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Just look at History.
Adolf Hitler good to bad
Margret Thatcher good to bad
Robert Mugabe good to bad
Idi Amin good to bad
George Bush good to bad
Tony Blair Good to bad

The list is only a fraction of world leaders reluctant to give up power and like to show they are tin God's

Well, it's certainly not "blasphemous" unless you consider him to be God. I honestly think he is not stupid. I think he is a poor communicator who has made some unwise decision in retrospect. He did not have a crystal ball when he made some of those decisions and was acting on incorrect information. I really think he would be more respected if his pronunciation was better and he didn't have a tendency to mis-speak. Also, after all these years, is it really that hard to pronoun "nuclear"?
