microsoft says if i dont have a password disk or xp cd i have to clean a re-install xp because i forgot the admin password? its the only account i have on the laptop

boot the computer in safe mode by pressing F8 when you see the computer company's logo. Then log into the administrator account

No it is not true there are many ways to bypass the "lost admin password problem"

the admin password isnt anything just leave it blank and click enter
