That when she yells at a litigant & is convinced they're wrong about something (seemingly making assumptions about them & the situation), that's she's SOMEtimes wrong?
Esp. when she cuts them off & leaves out potential key testimony...

Interesting about nunofyobiznit.
One thing we all have to keep in mind is the tv is all about illusion & theater. I kinda figured all along she was being a loud mouth solely for the cameras.

I was on Judge Judy, and all I can say is that - she is so preoccupied with hamming it up for the camera - that she pays absolutly no attencion to what really is going on - she turned my whole case around into a custody case instead of what i was really there for. I was there to get back personal property - and got none of it back, she wanted to talk only about my Custody case wich she has no jurisdiction on and was in family court - "WHICH I DID WIN - I DID WIN FULL CUSTODY OF MY DAUGHTERS" - JUDGE JUDY IS A FAKE - AND is not there to help anyone resolve problems - its all about ratings - live & learn i guess
in responce to the "everyone gets money" statement - that is false - unless you feel $100 is money...lol

It's not an actual court - both sides get money.
It's just entertainment.
But yeah - her personality is really off. You just want her to shut up half the time because the people who have the issues are a lot more interesting.

I love Judge Judy. A friend of mine even went on there and won! I think that she is realistic as to how things happen and is fair to whom she thinks is telling the truth.

She's the Judge and as they say, its HER COURTROOM! She has so many major cases that these petty cases are a dime a dozen to her. She is there to make money and its done her way.

I think she's kind of rude, but after all, it's all about television ratings. I also think that the majority of people who come before her are rude too. They have no manners. You know, only speak when spoken to.....

I watched her a lot, and used to think she was kind of one-sided. But I realized that she has been a judge for a long, long time, and also has a good sense about people. She knows BS when she sees it, and she calls people on it. I think she's right on the money nearly all the time.

Yes. She seems to always be one-sided to a certain extent.

Ye. This is the reason why I don't watch her anymore. I do not always agree with her "justice", attitude & rulings
