Not getting yelled at would be a great one. So would competent middle management.

I used to get great perks at my last job (of course the perks of being a stay-at-home Mom are good too!)
At my old employer we got to bring our child to work if we did not have a babysitter (it was an office setting)
We had casual dress on Fridays
Management took turns buying bagels and flavored cream cheeses on Friday morning for the employees (there were close to one hundred employees)
Every month one of the VPs gathered everyone into the lunch room and we all sang Happy Birthday to those born that month. That VP would bake a goody or arrange a great snack (one we had a tray of cookies, once RIta's water ice) which varied month to month.
Great bonuses at Christmas time and everyone (as long as they worked at least one month) got a percentage.
$250 referral bonuses for referring a potential employee that got interviewed- $500 if they got hired
Tuition reimbursement- paid half of tuition or certification course up to $5000 a year
A great holiday party at a fancy resturaunt where you would bring a guest and eat and dance the night away.
A wine club. You paid a small amount of money each month and one of the managers (a wine guru) would select a bottle and review it and present you with why, how, when, and with what to drink it with.
Management used to take you out to lunch each year you were there to celebrate your anniversary.
The president would take you to lunch at the country club to celebrate when you're training was over as a new hire.
You got a tour from one of the VPs to the house where the company started (years ago in their father's basement) He also toured you around the town. I got to see where Alan Iverson lived!
A company picnic in the summer around 4th of July where the office closed early and everyone went outside in the sunshine. One year they treated to Mr. Softee ice cream truck.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day if you came in and worked an hour early Mon-Thurs you could rotate and leave early or not come in on Friday.
Paid sick time
Paid vacation
Great health insurance benefits (although this was working for an insurance broker)
At one time there was a book club
The HR person would email us coupons to the stores at the mall that were having sales.
If a holiday fell on a Monday, you had the Friday before off too.
If a holiday fell on a Tuesday or a Thursday you had the Monday/Friday off too.
Chair massages
Great employee meetings w/ snacks and games

We get the basics, medical, eye care and dentist, as well as life insurance and 401k matching. But we also get doughnuts regularly, and they do small giveaways for tickets and gift certificates. They've been talking about giving us free oil changes on site, that would be kind of cool.
One thing I wish we had was a gym membership or company gym. Many big companies have that and I think it's a great idea.

the main one I want and get is freedom with my kids, they can call me anytime all the time and if there is a problem I can leave when ever I need to. I do get other perks but that is the only one I am worried about.

I wish I made more money. Free healthcare for life would be nice. A nice vacation home on a carribean Island would be sweet. Watch out Oprah, here I come. Help me Tom Cruise.

My bosses are very demanding. I work all around the clock, I have to clean, and cook. But the perks I get out weigh all the work that I do. Unlimited kisses and hugs. (I am a SAHM).

my employer is very understanding about "life stuff".
yesterday i needed to make a last minute appt for my baby at the dr's and it took up 2 hours today....he's o.k. with that.
i wasn't even here for a year and went on maternity leave. i wasn't protected my FMLA or anything and he kept my job for me....for about 2.5 months. it was nice.
he's pretty tolerable of most things as long as you get your job done.
he COULD pay us more...seriously, i do the books! however, i won't be here forever and it's convenient for right now. he's a good guy.
take care.
