No. You will need 512mb as a minumum but ..... getting up to the minumum is not enough to get comfortable with the computer system.
My advice to you is stay away from Windows Vista and stick with Windows XP Home or Pro.
Anybody who going hype about Windows Vista including the Dell saying that Windows Vista is an excellent products should kick their brain out the door.

NO, you need atleast 512 mb ram to install VISTA, 1 GB or more ram will be great to operating windows VISTA, some features like flip 3-D is only works with 1 GB RAM.

NO! DO NOT TRY THIS! VISTA WILL CRASH!. Windows vista needs atleast 512mb of ram for the basic version to function, it is recommended that you have 1 gb of memory or more for the mor advanced versions, Vista Ultimate wants 1.5gb to 2 gb min.

No minimum req. for VISTA is 512MB RAM. and if u want to have a complete VISTA exp. then u must have a high Graphic Card.

If you look on the package it will tell you the minimum requirements for it( all software does ^_^ ). I'm not giving Bill anymore money unless I have to. As long as XPsp2 is doing the job I'm sticking with it.

dont even think of it buddy,
reason: 512mb ram [not so good speed]. 1 gb+ is required for it to function normally.
