No argument here. Politics is the great divider; it is not a uniter. It pits Americans against each other. Neighbor against neighbor.
It encourages otherwise peaceful people to advocate government-endorsed coercion (ex. war, taxation) as a means to attain economic or social goals. It causes people to legitimize criminal acts that are performed by the government, even when those same acts are considered crimes in the private sector.
Governments around the world have generally done far more harm than good. When has a private company ever waged war against another country? Wars are usually fought by megalomaniac depots who wish to forcibly impose their will on others.
It is estimated that governments around the world killed around 170 million of their OWN PEOPLE in the 20th Century alone - and that is excluding war casualties. Government is not the solution to our problems; government IS the problem.

The bureaucracy in America is nothing compared to those in Europe and Asia, where I have lived as an ex-pat many years.
Everything in life is relative so if you have never had to deal with another system, such as in a foreign country, you really can´t make this complaint.

because they are all a bunch of stupid poopyheads.
your telling me if someone came up to you and said hey, I have this job I want you to do all you have to do is go to parties and make laws and stuff a couple days a week
you get a huge salary, a lot of time off, and the best retirement plan in the world. ?
anyone thinking of their family would take that job.

Most Americans probably realize this, but most of us don't care to do anything about it because we are more interested in what happened on "24" last night or which SuperBowl commercial was funniest.

if people werent so damn greedy and ignorant then we wouldn't need bureaucrats to dictate procedure onto us on proper ways to do things.
