Why is it the black man vs. a woman vote? As a black man myself, I am looking to Obama not because of his color but for what he stands for. He stood against the war (one of the only ones) from the start when Hillary voted for it and then recently changed her mind. I vote for Obama because I know Obama speaks for Obama when he talks about how the concerns of America. I feel as if Bill is writing Hillary script. Im not saying she not brilliant in what she does but I know that she recieves help and we never know who she really is. Now everyone would like to comment on his lack of experince in the senate.. See J.F.K. profile.. Noone judged his experience then, did they??.. But put in a black man, and you would like to see him run after 10-15 years of experience. Its not the experience, its the Dream.. and America cant wait 10-15 years. So how about lets look at what both canidates have put out there to offer.. Obama -- Universal Health Care .. Hillary ?? , does anyone know that one??

In one sense, you have a point, except I'd approach it from the opposide side. How is it that the top three Democratic candidates are Hillary (2 election wins), Obama (2 election wins), and Edwards (1 election win)?

Considering the experience of the other top two contenders, it's ludicrous to comment on Obama's lack of experience. But it's also ludicrous to consider any of the top three as qualified to be President. Evan Bayh, Bill Richardson, and Joe Biden are better qualified (although I probably still wouldn't vote for Biden - he's too far to the left).

Obama, Hillary might win

I think what separates Obama from Hillary is his campaign centers on hope and unity, while her campaigns slogan is "I'm in it, to win it". That slogan says to me, "I will look at the polls. Figure out what I need to say. Then say it." Well... she is honest. Obama, on the hand, wants to change political discourse and bring our country together to solve problems. He looks at issues and looks for the best solution, instead of the solution that will help him win a campaign. Obama might be able to bring Democrats and Republicans together to get some **** done!

I think Obama's views on improving the poverty in the country, using his success in this arena as a key indicator that he can, combined with his high energy make him the guy I'm voting for for sure.

Why not vote for a black woman, like Condi, then? It's radical choices like these two that force me to keep voting for Republicans that I really don't agree with. How is it possible, out of a population of over 235 million, that the best we can come up with is THIS sad bunch?

It's a hard question as to whether a woman or an African-American can win the presidency. Frankly, I do not expect to see either in my lifetime.

I expect John McCain to be the next president of the US. Do I like it? No! What can I do about it? Nothing.

You obviously favour Obama.
The only way he will get anywhere will be as VP, (to Hillary) and he can run for President after two terms as VP.
Otherwise, he can forget it!

have fun comparing their campaign promises. if you want to go by what they have actually done, you will probably have more fun. i need my president to have a little more under his belt than a dream. i dreamed of being president, but that does not qualify me. HE IS NOT QUALIFIED.
