I no most person think it is ok for any race to mix. But do you think it is always fair for the child as growing up the children are always teased and made fun of. Not always in most cases. But it is very common for the Black culuture and others to mix. Me personally Both of my children are mixed. Mine is white and Hispinc and the other is asian. I Do not think we should look upon color but How many agree that the children suffer.

Alwaysbombed is correct. Its perceptions that are the problem. I think that the problem is with the society that has the mindset that there is something wrong with racially mixed children rather than that racial mixing is bad. I think that tolerance will prevail when people get to know children from mixed back grounds. Just because some people are intolerant or racist is no reason to say that people who love each other regardless of race should not marry and have children. Black children who attended the first desegregated schools unfortunately did suffer as they paved the way for future generations to be able to attend class together. If they hadn't braved the changes of society we would be the poorer for it culturally today.

Race mixing's great, take it from someone who's spent quality time on the beaches of Rio de janeiro. Children may suffer more in places where races don't mix as much, I don't see that in my neck of the woods (SF bay area). There are so many mixed people it's getting to be the norm. If two people fall in love they need to get married. If their kids don't suffer because of this, they'll suffer because of something else.

I think that the kids may have more of an uncomfortable time adjusting to race relations than others. The only way that they suffer is when they don't have the proper guidance and an open discussion about race from their parents. Many of them have the best of both worlds and it's a shame that society often tells them to pick a side.

I disagree. Children are always teased about something. Thats just how kids are. Growing up, it was always the mixed kids that were considered more attractive. Exotic looking, nice hair, etc.

I don't kids really suffer from being mixed.

kids will find anything to make fun of, so even if a kid wasn't mixed they would still be made fun of for something.

I think you are not talking about races mixing, I think you are discussing a color chart. I know of one fundamental group that talks about races mixing being a sin, but it is only the degree of color of which they speak.

there is defintelyy nothing wrong with races mixing!
and why would children suffer? well acually, the ppl that make fun of them have no right to make fun of them. and it is totally unneccesary. kids that are mixed races are reallyyy gorgeous. for example asian and whitee,... they are so gorgeous.

I come from a racially mixed background. I never suffered because of it - I know who I am and I am very comfortable with it. Next?

The concept of race is man made and an obsolete way of categorizing people.

The more you understand about the physical variations between people you'll understand that we are more similar than different.

There is only one race, homo sapiens (humans - mankind), and we are all the same with the exception of cultural differences.

I'm proud of my european heritage and consider caucasian women of all ethnicities (mediteranean, slavic, nordic, celt, germanic to name a few), the most beautiful on the planet. I would consider race mixing a disgrace to the family name.
