Actually we are TOO stable!!! Let me explain - at the presidential level we have had great consistency - its called an oligarchy. Bush Sr. 4 yrs, B. Clinton 8 yrs, GWB 8yrs and when Hillary is elected it will be at least 4 more years of Clinton's. That will be an entire generation being born and growing up under 2 families as president. Even in the Democratic 'SWEEP' of congress last year less than 10% of seats changed hands. The worst part? The congress approval rating was below 25% and we only replaced 10%. Think you could keep your job if you only satisfied your boss 25% of the time. Our system and we as a people are BROKEN when we continue to re-elect the same people over and over and expect different results.

The American people have no right to complain. They get just what they ask for at the ballot box. If you don't vote then KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT//You had the chance to make a change but you did not take it. The liberals were given a chance to do something but all they seem to want to do is hearing after hearing..the people want action , not talk, ..It is easy to find fault but how about some suggestions. The Dem's have to work with the repubs or nothing will get done. enough talk, lets see some action on BIG issues not just the war.

no...it shows stability...when we (the people) get sick of one party, we vote them out...and just think.. it doesnt take guns to do this ....like in some countries...and yes...we have crybabies sometimes who want to drag the outcome out , but eventually, we have a new gov't...and by the way, neither party is that different from the other, except for the socialism issue which has raised its head in the last 10 years....thank the radicals of the 60's for that, they are now the professors teaching and indoctrinating your kids and future teachers...we need to get education back to where it teaches the benefits of being an american, not the faults of being an american, and trying to make us the problem in the world...if we were the problem, how come we are the most prosperous and energetic and free country on the planet...???

No . It just means that they like to share like the good little boys that they are . Now if they could only play nice in the sandbox , known as Congress, something would actually get done .
