He was never convicted of rape, he was convicted of sexual misconduct; forcibly touching her butt. The rape charges were dropped. There was NO evidence of rape. No semen and no forceable entries. I think the only reason he got that charge was to just make an example of him. nothing more nothing less. He got out on bail appending the appeal (which he was granted an appeal) but was killed before he had to step foot in the court room to clear his name.

He was accused of rape, and went to jail for it, but I don't think he did it. It was very similar to what Kobe went through; some fan came out accusing him. Watch any decent documentary about Tupac and it'll explain it. I recommend Tupac: Resurrection.
The reason I think he's innocent is just watch him talking about the women in his life. He was raised by a single mom and he was close to his sister too. (Yea there's all that "b*tch" and "ho" stuff in the music, but that's a different thing.) In real life he had respect for women and treated them well.
Anyway, why in the world would a guy like Tupac have to rape someone? And he would have been smart enough to know he (a "scary" gangsta rapper) would never get away with it. He knew he frightened a lot of people. Anyway, watch Tupac: Resurrection. It'll explain it.
