Why is Abortion Wrong In Your Eyes?

I dont believe it is wrong because:
1) the fetus barely has any senses at that point in its development
2) it could only survive in the mother at that point in its development
3)saying abortion is immoral is like saying getting a benign cyst removed is immoral

- another important point is that going through pregnancy and labor is life threatening so regardless of a womans situation otherwise the situation of being pregnant is life threatening regardless

I believe it is wrong because the child is alive. Therefore, it is murder and infanticide. Even if it could only survive in the mother that does not mean it is not alive. No child could survive on its own even after it was born, so that argument is fairly flawed. Besides, the mother and/or father should have used contraceptives if they didn't want to get pregnant. If nothing else, there's always the day after pill at the hospital. But once the child is actually concieved it is alive and should not be murdered because someone (the mother) thinks it is inconvienent. If she doesn't want to keep the child she can put it up for adoption. There's nothing that says she has to keep the child. But there is no reason for her to murder it.

However, there are two cases in which I support abortion: health reasons and rape. A victim should not have to carry her rapist's child. If the mother is going to die unless she gets an abortion, than an abortion is a good idea. Case in point: during my mother's first pregnancy she had a growth on her one of her ovaries. She would have died if it had not been removed. The pregnancy had to be terminated so doctors could reach the growth and save her life.

I believe its wrong because:
1) it might not have the senses that it going to get killed at that state of development (but does a 5 month baby have those senses? so is it ok to kill someone if they have dont have the senses? So if you are unconcious, say because you had an accident is it ok to kill you because you wont know or you wont feel it?
2) newborns can only survive if someone takes care of them so does that make them less human? does that make it a parents choice if the child is bothering them, or they cant go out because they have a kid, able to kill them?
3) I dont know what kind of education you have but a benign cyst does not have a heart beat and doesnt grow into a human being. Even though a fetus is not fully formed it doesnt make it less human. If you were not growing a child than you wouldnt be pregnant!!!

So yes i believe it is wrong and although its life threatning there are many situations that are life threatning.... like drunk driving, that doesnt mean I'm going to kill every drunk driver because they might die or kill someone else anyway!!!

Then don't get pregnant! Simple as that! No one has to these days you know. It's only stupidity and laziness to get preg. if you don't want a child. You could argue that a newborn baby doesn't have many senses either. Does that mean we should murder it too? You keep saying 'that point'. What point are you talking about? To equate a human life with a cyst is unfeeling and inhuman. Are we to call you a cyst? Would it have been better for your mother to have aborted you? It's not up to me or you to decide who lives or dies. It's a life and has every right to live. You are a little ignorant aren't you?

I'm divided on the subject:-
A woman can have the morning after pill up to three days after conception, but victimised for having an abortion at one week?
A woman can have an abortion up to the point of full term if the baby is thought to have a disability. A woman took advantage of this and had an abortion at nearly full term because the child had a cleft palate, a tiny disfigurement easily rectified by a small operation.
Every situation must be evaluated on its own merit, abortion can be right and wrong.

At five weeks pregnant the baby(not fetus, it is not some thing. U no this is what i hate. Ppl take the true identity of a person and deconstruct them into some feeble meaningless object), but that was a tangent, the heart begins to beat and vital organs form. the buds for arms and legs come into view. And its a cyst? A cyst? Were you just a cyst when yr mother decided to keep you in her womb? No she loved you from the beginning. You cannot compare it to a cyst. It is wrong, it is evil.

Abortion is wrong because the fetus is a living thing. It's something that God created to live in this world.
There are some celebs that I know of that were almost aborted but there mother changed her mind and they grew up to become powerful people.

and removing a cyst is totally different because a cyst is not human and will not benefit you but only harm you .a baby can't give you cancer or harm you unless it's a life and death situation!

i'm pro-choice. why should a baby be born if the parents don't want it? then it's the child who suffers. what if the girl was raped? should she be forced to have a baby she disn't want? there are also flaws with birth control. what if the condom breaks accidentally? there are already too many orphan children without a proper home.

people who are against abortion are probably also against stem cell research cuz it's like "killing a baby." if those people wind up with cancer one day and there is a cure for cancer that was found by stem cell research, why should they be able to use it if they felt so strongly against it?

I guess you can say that I am pro life and pro death.

I believe that God created each fetus to grow into an adult.

If a 13 year old gets raped and gets pregnant and is going through chemo, I'd say pro choice.

If a seventeen year old has sex and gets pregnant and she is of perfect health then I am pro life.

For me, it depends on the situation whether I support pro life or pro death.

P.S. I say pro death because it's what it is: women opting to kill a person.
