A few years back a close friend of mine got a sex change operation from a male to female. We went to a technical school together. When he would use the lady's restroom, there would always be some girl that would complain to the board of directors. They told her that she would only be able to use the unisex restroom (which there were none)! Is this right???

Absolutely not.

To state the most obvious reason - how much more of a fuss is going to be raised when someone sees a person in a dress enter then men's room? Honestly, people just kill me.

Well if he is now a she then she should use the womens restroom, unless she is trying to stand up and pee in the sink. Then she should go to the mens restroom and use the urinal.

I really don't see what the problem is with restrooms. It is a place where we relieve ourselves and yet they have to be seperated by male/female. They are used for the very same function.

a perfect example of why segregated bathrooms should be outmoded - it would be less confusing, safer, etc. I mean, c'mon, why are people so sexist?
