In college, she was a Socialist. That's what drew her so closely to Slick Willy. At present, I think she is simply a person who is seeking a job to get her back into the White House before her next delinquent mortgage payment comes due..... Hillary was actually a republican, the only reason she converted was because she was married to Bill Clinton. The Clinton's do not have a liberal record, hardcore liberals generally did not like them, but supported them more because of how much the republicans hated them.

conservative. so she's more fiscally conservative than bush and believes that the health care situation in the U.S. has deteriorated to the point that the government has to step in to protect its people. She's not a socialist for that. She's actually a bit conservative for my tastes.

My understanding is that she suggested taking THE TAX DOLLARS BUSH HAS BEEN SHOVING DOWN EXXON'S THROAT and using those tax dollars instead on something that actually benefits Americans. Mainly, beginning to actually address the issue of Alternative Energy.
