My gf of 8 years left me to be alone and do some things she says she needs to do without ties ie some travelling. We have a great connection but she needs to do what she needs to do. There is still love there but right now its obvious hers isnt strong enough to keep us together. She doesnt want anyone else but obviously nothing is guaranteed in life so there is no certainty of us ever getting back together. When she broke up with me i was hurt and told her i dont want to see her or be in contact with her now i really regret having said that. This is what i intend to say to her and see what you think and considering i dont want to push her away. Also, how should i say it to her ie phone, txt, letter. thanks

"I don't really know what you feel for me anymore and i don't know if i will ever mean as much to you as i once did.You are such a special part of my life and you have been for so long and i never want to stop knowing you, despite what i said, because the truth is i love you with all of my heart and i believe i always will".

A handwritten letter goes a tremendously long way. It indicates to her that she is well worth your time and effort. Get some nice stationary (no computer or lined paper), a quality pen, and put down in written word everything you want her to know.

A girl friend of eight years might feel that there is no moving forward in the current situation. Let her know you want her forever if that is how you truly feel!!

star 67 ( or 69 can't remember which one hides your number ) her phone and see whats up. Don't even bring up what happened in the past, just ask her what she's doing right now and act like your busy and just wanted to see how she was feeling. Most important thing is to make it seem like your the one being more cool about it. You put the girl in the control, and your bound to lose her.

You should call her. You can't hear feelings in a text message and those are so impersonal. A letter is a good option, but again, she can't read into the feelings. If you call her you are talking to her and should get some type of feedback that way. Good luck to you.

Aww bless ya hun thats really nice. Id say this in a letter and id explain that you said what you did because you felt hurt. We've all said things we dont mean when we have felt hurt and upset im sure she has done it herself and she will probably understand.

Aww tear, well tell her either text email or letter, because i think it may be easier to say it in writing. But what you wrote was beautiful. So good luck with that but tell her tell her tell her

Phone call would be best because she can hear your voice and feels your sincerity which in many cases would melt her heart.

Well in person would be the best, if not, over the phone.
