What about Hillary? Do you think the Republicans have a real chance of winning based on the big Senate change and Pres. Bush low ratings?

No chance for Obama. He's a colossal rookie. I'll be very surprised if he's still a serious contender for the nomination by the time the first primary rolls around.

No way it's Obama. Hillary will get the Democratic nomination, but she is way to liberal and socialist to be elected. I think the Republicans will win, but not by much. It will be either McCain or Giuliani. I'm not sure Giuliani is quite in step with Republican beliefs, but I think he probably has a better chance of beating Hillary than McCain. Giuliani is very moderate. I'm not sure what McCain really believes. I think he is kind of a chameleon.

I do believe that Barak and Hillary are the front runners for the Democratic party and will have the democratic nod. Whoever actually wins will pick the other for VP candidate. I believe that Giuliani will give them a tough run though and "Condi" if she decides to run.

I think Obama's positive outlook, high energy and ideals of creating a fresh change make him a very strong candidate. And according to the website below, he even stopped smoking!

i doubt seriously southern republican "values", (and i use that term loosely), will ever elect a black man or a woman to the highest office. even though an extremely moderate stance will be important after war (historically this worked more often than not) people are not going to be ready for historical firsts like women or black presidents.
