take another family, what i didn't say in the ? is that she would know if i took someone. she knows the other family and our kids would talk about the experience and so forth none of of could lie about it, we are truthful with each other, her excitement is what makes it hard and then that we aren't really going alone but choose another family makes it harder to tell her, i appreciate the advice i can say to her. I went to concert with other friend and she loves the singer and still holds it against me that i didn't take her. does bother me, it's just that's how she is. like i won't beable to talk about this trip cause she'll have a grudge that we didn't do it together.

Is she just a friend or is she something more? Do you really want her to go? If not I would tell her that. Then let her know why. I.E. she talks way too much, she wines too much, she's annoying.

if she is a true best friend,she will understand this. these thing make it hard to tell each other... you have to be brave and just be there for her always, when you come back. just be a friend to her and if she gives you the cold shoulder or so, still try to be her friend... it really isnt your fault, your family just wants to invite someone different and just feel relaxed cuz you really didnt do anything wrong.
