What is the point of Marriage?

Especially since women these days have given it up so easily in the past. Its like you're buying a used car, with a new car sticker on it.

I hear that marriage is supposed to be about sacrifice, but women these days don't sacrifice. They live out all thier fantasies:

One night stands
First date sex
Sex with strangers
Lesbian encounters
etc

Then expect commitment after they have lived it up. There's just no point in marrying girls these days it seems. What makes you so special after you have already shared yourself with so many others?

So you see, it seems like with women, theres a big rush to live out all thier fantasies before marriage because they know they won't be able to do that kind of stuff when married. And of course, they'll hold thier husband (poor guy) to the whole commitment and vows thing and take every thing he has if he even tries to do half of the "living" that she has already done.

There is no point in getting married to a tramp that is ready for her bill payer.

Now for a women that has been preparing herself for a family and looking for a great father for her children, there is a lot of reason to get married.

Sorry girls you can't have if both ways. Responsible men want responsible women. That's why we CARE about your past and hold you accountable. Don't lose hope. Though the question "what is the point of marriage" cannot be answered in a few sentances--I will tell you, there are girls out there worth marrying, and marriage is worth it. And honestly, marriage (a good one) won't feel like a sacrifice. The type of woman you have described above is not worth marrying--you need to start looking for a woman where mature people can be found.

I wouldn't be saying all women ''live it up'' before marriage i never did and im not complaining about it either however i don't think it is right for you to be calling women tramps for their choices they did before marriage. Oh, my! I'm so sorry you feel that way. I've been married for 20 years and am very happy. My husband and I are a team. We are best friends and we fully intend to live up to those vows we took all those years ago.

Wow. I think that you may have forgotten that men seem to have one-night stands, go out on dates only to have sex, sex with strangers, and sex with just about anything with 2 legs.
