I think it's too commercial (like Christmas is becomming) and I don't take part in it. I think if you're lucky enough to have someone in your life that loves you and that you love, you should celebrate that love every day, not just Valentines day.

I just think of it as another day. I usually just go out for dinner with my Valentine. We just exchange cards now.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT......even when I am single. This year I am going to make a dinner with a French feel for my boyfriend( he works till 8pm so we are not going out till Sat.) of French Onion Soup, Beef and Vegetable Ragout and Cream Puffs. I am going to serve it to him on a nicely decorated table setting and enjoy the night. Then Sat. he is taking me out to dinner and we are going to go on a carriage ride!!! And return home for a nice round of adult games and Champagne!!

I got some sapphire earrings cheap from a friend. Trying to decide whether to sell them or give them to a girl as a "secret admirer".

It's over rated and propogated by the card and candy companies to make a profit.
