Told you were being distracting, that you had to leave, etc?

It happened to my wife and I quite a few times. The last time, we kissed on our very own front stoop, just a goodbye peck, and a Muslim woman came up to tell us we were harming her children and flaunting something we should be ashamed of. We told her to get off our property, and as she left, my wife bent me very far back, so far the ends of my midback-length hair touched the floor, and kissed me like she was going off to war!

I was reminded of it by this experience faced by two New Zealand women.

I hold hands with my fiancé all the time, and not once have we been harassed. Now and then, we might get some surprised or disapproving looks, but never harassment. We don't sit on benches eating each other's faces, but there's nothing wrong with kissing him out in public, as long as it's not exaggerated.

I've never been harassed for same-sex kissing. Not even when standing in the middle of Main Street at Disneyland kissing a tall, furry, bearded, hunk o' bear!!

When people get on me about kissing another girl in public....I take it farther...start undoing the shirt a little...maybe touching a little bit everywhere...I take it as far as I can right there on the street. Its annoying...I should be able to kiss who I want..when I want. Most of the time when I take it that one step farther the people bugging me just walk away real quick...its exciting!!

No, and I have kissed my husband in public a few times. We simply do not make a spectacle of ourselves. I am not trying to prove anything to anyone.

I HAVE been harassed by people of the same sex kissing.
You know those obnoxious folks that even after you let them know that their behavior is offensive to you they then make a big show about and being even more offensive.
You know they like to offend you and your children by forcing an indecent public show and then get offended when the public asks them to stop.
Making a spectacle of yourself and being a jerk has nothing to do with sexuality. It has to do with common courtesy.
Ahh...Truth hurts but you asked.
