USA Patriot Act

The Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001 (Public Law 107-56), known as USA PATRIOT Act or simply the Patriot Act, is an American act which President George W. Bush signed into law on October 26, 2001.

The below link is a good starting point!

the text of the patriot act is difficult because it's mainly references to sections of other laws. If you've got some time on your hands, you can probably find all of these laws online... with cut and paste, you might be able to turn it into a fairly comprehensible document.

Write to the Library of Congress. For a small fee they will probably send you a copy. You may also find one on the Internet somewhere.

Dont . The less you know the better . Its better to consider people as no longer friends than enemies . If you knew what your Republican friends had in mind for you and me , then you would consider them enemies .
