question about real tek audio device ,and speaker problems?

My speakers seem to be on and working I checked all the wires and everythings fine,I checked my volume control and everything is in place.
my speakers are on and they sound scratchy and stati like.
I have tryed troubleshooting and everything in the help center??????????

When you "checked the wires" did you make sure that the connectors/jacks were pushed in all the way? Including the power jack that goes into your speakers or woofer.
Many times this is the cause of static in the speakers.
