USS Lexington CV-2 On the Way to deliver planes to Midway 2 Days out of Pearl Harbor.

USS Saratoga CV-3 enroute from San Diego to Pearl Harbor after yard work five days to Pearl Harbor.

USS Enterprise was on way back to Pearl Harbor after delivering planes to Wake Island. Due in Pearl Harbor at 1800 hrs (6:00 PM) December 6 1941 Held up by rough seas to refuel destroyers in escort revised time in port 1200 (12:00 PM)December 7, 1941. CVW-6 air-wing on the Enterprise at the time is the only air-wing to get a battle star for Pearl Harbor as it lost 4 Scouts and 2 Fighters to combat.

I hope that answers your question

Only Lexington and Enterprise were assigned to the Pacific Fleet. The former was taking planes to Midway, and the latter returning from doing the same at Wake (VMF's, I think F4F3's, but that needs double-checking).
