because that was what white people gave blacks to eat instead of fresh meat in slavery. SO we refuse to eat it. I haven't eaten pork in years so now i cannot stand the smell

I'm Black and I don't eat pork because it's terrible for you but I know a lot of Black people that do.

I don't eat pork for two reasons and they are:
1 Eating pork goes against my religious beliefs
2 For health reasons(heart disease runs in my family so I really have to watch what I eat)

That would be most Jewish people who don't eat pork--it is part of their tradition and customs. The Black people who I know eat pork.

I think the idea is that pork is bad for you and gives you high blood pressure. People in the Nation of Islam beleive that pork is unclean and should not be eaten.
(But alot of black people DO eat pork)

because they are no longer slaves and forced to eat another peoples diet and many black people are educated to the facts about how dangerous the consumption of pork is. Also many blacks are muslims who forbid eating the filthy swine.

most black people I know eat pork actually they eat to much of it I myself dont eat pork and niether do my brothers.
