I presume you're using Microsoft Windows. If so, you can open a "DOS Box" by clicking on Start, then Run and then typing "cmd" and hitting ENTER. This opens a command-line prompt. Type "dir" and hit ENTER. This will display a list of files and directories and the very last line will say something like "99999999 bytes free". If you need 2875.03MB, this number should be greater than 2,875,030,000 bytes
Actually, this may not be strictly true since it depends on your program - some calculate MB as millions of bytes, while others do so correctly as 1048576, which would make the requirement 3014687457.28 bytes, and it's this partial byte that makes me think this is in terms of millions of bytes

OK - so you don't know how to determine if you have ~2.6gigs left on your hard drive yet you are positive you have enough RAM, CPU speed, and Video memory? Doubtful.
My advice, don't open the box until you are sure of what all four of those things mean (CPU, RAM, HD, VRAM). I will bet that you end up with a game you are not able to install or enjoy. If you open the package, you can't return it to the store.
(BTW, easiest way is to simply click on My Computer and then click ONCE on the C: drive. Then look at the pretty menu on left and at the bottom it will tell you).
