Most sites offer a free version or a pay version these days. Basic Fantasy Baseball in Yahoo! is free and Fantasy Baseball Plus is the pay version.

It depends on which fantasy site you sighed up on and what sport/game. Yahoo fantasy games are free unless you sigh up for Plus leagues. Espn is going the same way with all games free except for a few. you would have been asked for a credit card # if you had to pay for your team. Baseball is free on ESPN this year.

there is no fee for yahoo fantasy baseball unless you signed up for fantasy baseball plus. anyway, if there was a fee, they would have asked you for a credit card number so they could bill you.
