I personally believe in Destiny. I am where life lead me to be.

Hi Joy, I believe in both.Everyone has a destiny to follow.Fate is fate,what ever happens is meant to be. A Friend.

I believe in fate/destiny. I think that everything happens for a reason. A reason we my never know!I do not feel like I choose my life b/c some stuff about it I would not have made happen!

Well as someone who occasionally dreams future events (which has even saved my life once), I've kind of been forced to accept that there is some form of fate - or at least the possibility of precognition.
However if there is a fate, it may not affect everybody... I know good people who have died painfully and the idea that it was their "destiny" is personally revolting.

I'm kinda straddling both sides of the fence on this one.
I believe that we are predispositioned to lean towards things...I guess that could be destiny.
But I also believe that the things we do have a direct or indirect effect on things that will happen in the future.
So in a way I think we either help destiny on or change our personal destiny.

If fate or destiny exist, they're doing a damned good job of hiding. So it serves me no purpose to believe in them. I just do what I wanna do.
On the other hand, at those times when I come across a book which has a profound impact on me I'll sometimes think something led me to it.
That might just be mystical thinking - who knows?

I was asked this question last night and I came up with "chance". I completely believe in being in the right place at the right time. I don't think anyone has the future planned out for them. Do you think it was intended that little children be starved, abused, raped -- and that it could possible be their destiny?

destiny actually i think god has planned our life and he is the only one that knows how its gonna work out. but u sort of do choose because u choose to drink or not etc.

i do believe in them ...fate throws you in opportunities way and destiny is what happens after. but i feel i get to chose my life in a way too.

I believe in free will. I do what I want, but the consequences of my actions are my destiny.
