Well - certainly not the "damsel in distress"... They would be one sad sight for sore eyes together...

I would say the "witch in the woods".

Just because it is the warriors ego that is damaged when he trails off... the witch in the woods would foster a very powerful resentment in him as she healed his wounds... he would return to society years later to fight the king who sent him off to war in the first place...
I think that would be hot!

Not to mention - when I think of a "blind date", I think of Justice...

there are alot of lonely warriors out there, self included
you need some one with heart, and a careing soul.
