I had my first at a little over 4wks and I seen the sac. I will be 7wks 5d. I was wondering what can I expect, and will I be able to hear the baby's heartbeat?

The reason for so many ultrasounds is because I am labeled "high rsk" right now, since I had a miscarriage in September 2005.

Usually you will be able to see the heartbeat, they usually don't use sound with the ultrasounds, just pictures. I didn't get my first ultrasound until I was 18 weeks (and usually they only give you one until later on) so I can't be positive on anything else, except it will be really tiny at 7 weeks, you probably won't be able to tell that it's actually a baby either!

For my 18 week ultrasound, I wasn't instructed to drink something or have an entire bladder. in certainty I peed superb in the previous i replaced into called back and we observed the newborn completely. i assume it merely relies upon on the physician.

wow, why are you having so many ultrasounds, i've only heard of having one early in pregnancy to give a better due date, but 2 before 8 weeks.

i had my first one at 13 weeks to confirm a due date and a 2nd one at 20 weeks for growth, gender, ect.

You will be able to hear the babys heart beat during your next ultra sound. Congradulations :-)
