i am thinking of doing mobile tyre fitting for cars as ive just been made redundant AGAIN
has anyone got any tips

If you are a tyre fitter and know what you are doing, go for it. You'll need a decent van, I'd go for a Transit and can probably get the equipment second hand out of exchange and mart or even e bay.
Talk to suppliers. If your already in the trade you'll know some wholesalers otherwise look in yellow pages.
Be prepared to work unsociable hours. Many people cannot have this sort of job done while at work so will prefer you to come to their house at weekends or even the evening.
Most of all, look after your customers as you will get more work from recommendation than you will ever get from advertising.

Try for a franchise, its a good job. If going alone? only use branded tyres
