I recently went back on the Pill (Ortho Tricyclene) in September. I lost my sense of coordinating time and taking the Pill, and have often been taking it at off-set times. My time to take it is at 9PM. Often, I would take it at 10PM, 11:30PM, 8PM, etc. I want to know if this small difference in time will have affected me. When I was 16, those small differences didn't affect me (I'm taking the same type of pills, btw.) It's been five months, and everything seemed fine for a while, until two nights ago when I noticed the smallest amount of [regular, not period] blood on the inside of my panties. Btw, I'm a week away from starting my sugar pills.

Recently my boyfriend and I had sex. Admittedly, he went really hard, and it hurt my stomach for a few hours.

Is the blood from the irregularities in time I'd take the pills? Is it breakthrough bleeding?
If it's from the sex, is this dangerous?
If the Pill isn't strong enough, do I switch?

THANKS EVERYONE!

You need to talk with your gynecologist about your concerns. Occassional breakthrough bleeding isn't unheard of, but you want to be sure you know why it's happening.

If your pill dose is too low you could get pregnant, so your doctor will want to know if you're having breakthrough bleeding and determine whether it's necessary to adjust your dose..

Not taking your pill at almost the exact same time every day can have a serious effect on the way it affects you. You need to take it regularly every day, and get to a gyno about your bleeding. That's not normal.

you're no longer being noticeably intelligent. Why do you hold having unprotected intercourse? do you elect to get pregnant? do you elect an STD? you won't be in a position to guarantee your bf by no potential cheats/ that is common to have unusual sessions once you're youthful yet it is worry-free to get it regarded at. tell your OB/GYN or whomever you spot which you have have been given been having unusual sessions and you have been having unprotected intercourse and can like an examination, a pap smear. All it takes is one guy to grant you an STD. All it takes is one little sperm to get you pregnant. whilst a guy gets no longer worry-free he gets pre-*** or maybe which could get you pregnant. while you're brave adequate to have unprotected intercourse then you rather could be brave adequate to lady up and communicate on your physician approximately those concerns. Be extra clever approximately your sexual practices. It heavily isn't exciting and harmless once you get an STD or pregnant.
