Black women are about as out as the spice girls?

Question

I couldn't help but notice that almost all of the black guys at my school hit on white girls, not because they're really in love, just because they're white! Most of them aren't even all that pretty! I'd say about 75% of black men I see at malls and stuff are with white women. People just don't get how hard it is for us black women nowadays,it's like nobody wants us, not black men or white men. White girls on the other hand, are loved by both black and white men, what is happening to the world? I have no problem with interacial dating, but when a black guy hits on every white girl he sees, that's just a bit much. This question is for the black women in particular, but I appreciate other answers as well, what do you think of all this?

as a puerto rican woman i feel they are gonna cling to the woman who will put up with their sh#t and the ones they can take advantage of and give them wateva they want....strong african american woman will not put up with that!!!

I'm seeing more and more black women/white guy couples everyday. The white girl/black guy thing has been going on forever so it's not like it's a big deal. I just don't think that all white and black men want white women. That's crazy to say because a lot of guys no matter what color have a preference of who they like. Their are tons of white men that have a preference for black women. You don't know every man in the world so you can't say this is how these men think. Some people do date out of their race just to say they are with someone of another color. That's their decision if they want to be close minded because in the long run their hurting nobody but themselves. If two people come together and form a relationship it should be because of their personalities and their compatibility. I'm a black female, and I have dated white and black guys. I usually don't worry myself with this because it's not my life, it's theirs. I'm only living to make me happy in the end.

Not sure where you are at sweetheart, I am white, married to a black women and i only dated black women for years. My partners are mostly black and they for the most part only date black girls and even a few other white guys i know date black girls, so you must be somewhere isolated. I live in louisville, ky which is pretty small itself, but its not like that. Maybe you should move or get some self confidence. White girls dont have nothing on black girls , but you cant generalize because different people are different.

I am a Black woman and know that it is very sad when a person feel like love is not being extended to them. It's so bad that a lot of people believe in the stereotypes about Black women like we are loud, teeth sucking, head rolling, and uneducated which is not true of all of us. People have the right to be with whomever they want regardless of what color they are but don't despair my sister, there is someone out there for everyone and you are no exception. Anything the mind conceives, you can achieve. Just keep the faith that the right one will come along and eventually he will. Take care and I hope you all the best. Sweetie this is school! Trust me those guys know that white girls are easy. When they come to their sense they'll get with a really nice black girl. Sorry to say the truth but white girls are toys for black men....every man(black or white) likes his chocolate! And we're actually new......and white women are pretty much out because nowadays I see many white men with black women, many Asians with black women. Plus many white women do certain things to their body to accomplish what we naturally have. Maybe you'll understand when you get older. Also as sweetpea had said we don't take their bullshhit and we are very independent and not needy and we know that we don't need a man for every little issue, and white women are easy to play...we're not. White women are very needy and feel like they need a man for support, etc. So I think that is also why black men go to them for a little while.

I figure you love who you love. A black guy may hit on a white girl but that doesn't mean that they will stay together forever. Only when that man finds the right somebody will he be happy, white or black. Just look for love not color. And this comes from a black woman who loves her black husband. I wouldn't care if he were purple as long as he was the same because he is perfect for me.

It is only in recent times that interacial relationships have become "acceptable" to society, and it may be that black guys prefer being with white women to justify their status in society (ie they are as good as a white guy.) It is also proven that (however unfair it may seem) white women are stereotypically more sucessful than black women. Therefore while women tend to seek out the most successful partner to keep them in a stable lifestyle, black men are doing the same.

Aww don't be sad, keep trying, There is sure to be a black guy for you. I felt the same way growing up, I feel very asexaul. I didn't consider interracial dating until I got to high school, and that was all there is. I right now have a white bf, he's really nice. Just wait the man you want will come.

Here in the UK we have alot of mixed relationships and I have never really thought about how bklack men may "prefer" white girls..maybe your looking for it so it appears that more are dating white women.
Black girls do tend to be more "vocal" than white girls too so maybe they cant handle that...try dating a white guy I know of many many white men who would love to date a black lady

I'm with you 'Strong Black Sister', why does the wording in this question seem a little 'third person'? But an answer to this question is much needed, so here goes: There are Brothers out there who won't touch anything but a Sister! To find them, you have to be deep, & deeply in touch with yourself as a Black woman. Carrying around hatred for the Brother who has jungle fever, isn't going to solve the Black man shortage, maybe the answer lies in how you are carrying yourself! Do me a favor! The next time you see a Brother, you are interested in, parading white arm candy, go up to him & ask him if he's related to 'Ray-Ray'! Before he can answer, smile @ him & walk away. You will have pissed off the white girl, & gotten his attention, because he WILL be intrigued. Perhaps you can lure them back, One Brother @ a time!! We're not extinct, we just gotta step it up!

Speak for yourself hun, because I get hit on just about every damn day of the year... and I have a man a black man. If you look nice and have a nice attitude you should be able to find someone.. I don't know where the attitude of "nobody wants us comes from" because me or none of my black friends ever have trouble with men not being interested I am starting to think that it might be in the way that some ladies carry themselves, I could be wrong though.
