I have no problem with with dating another guy of another etnicity. But it seems like alot of non-black men are reluctant to date a Black woman. I get suggestive stares form a lot of non-black guys but they don't ask me out. They say I'm pretty and sexy but they don't make any moves on me,Are non-black men afriad of Black women or do they believe in a lot of negative stereotypes?

I've dated out side of my race several times, but never with a Anglo type white guy. Indian as in from India guys are nice, I find them attractive and some are as dark as black guys. Arab guys tend to be interested in black women. Latinos date outside of their race a lot so they understand a lot the baggage that goes along with that. Men are interested in women, period. But lots of people are hesitant about crossing racial lines you might want to let them know you're interested otherwise they might never work up the nerve to take the first step.

Well I'm white and I have the same problem I get stares from guys but they don't approach like they're scared...I don't think it has to do with your race, I think maybe they're just intimidated by pretty women, no matter what race, and maybe they think you seem standff-ish for whatever reason, even if you're not.
Also, a lot of non-black guys like black women...a lot of white guys/Latin guys/Asian/Middle Eastern guys are going for black women. I live in the Bay Area, where it's very common to see a non-black person with a black person, or interracial dating period. I know Italian guys seems to have a thing for black women.

some may believe in the negative stereotypes but hey pretty is pretty. I'm living here in Canada and many white men do like black women.
Go for it, ask them out.

I not trying to be mean....let me give you example.

Me and my boyfriend are white.... Sometimes when we off of work, we watch t.v. Sometimes Tyra Banks is on....I asked him if he thought she was pretty...I got an earful. He got so mad! He sais "supposedly" he can't see ANY attractive qualities in any black woman, period. I fought with him about it...I brought up Halley Berry- nope. I told him it's beyond human nature..if humans can see and are not blind, there is symmetry in ones face that no matter creates the look of "beauty". He got so mad, he almost asked me to leave. I saw in his face he wasn't joking. He was dead serious. Needless to say, I don't bring the subject up anymore.

BTW, I think some black women are very pretty, I think some are not. The same can be said for any race or ethnicity.

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.

You can find someone you're attracted to of any cultural background, even if the person isn't attractive in a way that most people might think is attractive. Physical beauty isn't the only measurement of attractiveness.

If you want to date someone outside of your cultural group, it will be easier if you find other people who also want to date from outside of their cultural group.

Attractive comes in all shades, shapes, and backgrounds.

i replaced into very tempted to neglect approximately this question all together by using fact that is purely so absurd, yet by using fact that is bringing out the racists in droves I figured i'm going to besides upload yet another voice to the area that somewhat appreciates the impressive thing with regard to the variety in our international. There are endless eye-catching black women purely as there are endless grotesque white women. each ethnic team has variety interior itself. there is not any such ingredient as "each member of this race is grotesque" by using fact no longer each member of any given race seems the comparable, or perhaps comparable. to boot, elegance is interior the attention of the beholder and purely by using fact which you do no longer discover the useful factors of specific people captivating does not immediately lead them to grotesque interior the eyes of something of the international. Do us all a favour and get exterior each so in many cases, even possibly enable your self to verify a ingredient or 2 with regard to the international and the folk residing in it.

They're probably thinking the same thing. Because of negative stereotypes from both sides, it's become difficult to communicate. Perhaps they just don't know how to ask? =)
