I have Sirius and heard a (rap?) song after the Howard Stern show and right before Bubba the Love Sponge came on the air. I couldn't make out the lyrics. It sort of sounded like a rap song, but more along the lines of the Beastie Boys. It didn't sound like a parody. Does anyone know what song it was?

The song is called Full Trucker Effect and it's about driving a truck for a living here in th U.S.

The band is called Johnny Socko and they are like a Ska band that mixes rock and rap elements with a horn section. (alot of early No Doubt sounds-besides the fact that they don't have a female singer).

Funny you mentioned the Beastie Boys, because these are all White guys as well doing a bit of Rap. This album came out in 1997.

Lyrics that I can remember:

Texas Panhandle to the Florida KEYS
Country Fried Steak with some Black Eyed PEAS
Half a Cherry Pie with the AlaMode
It's the best way to start the day hittin the road

The song can be heard M-F at 3pm Eastern Time on Howard 101 channel of Sirius Radio. It's the introduction song for Bubba the Love Sponge.
