Any of these Web sites are usually a waste of time, you have to pay to enter (or for them to publish your poem on line), and they are not considered REAL publishing. (The people above has listed sites but these are generally a total waste of time.) Also, you have to be 18 or over as they don't want to be taken to task for dealing with a minor. They should be taken to task on many things, actually, but anyway, they are for the most part SHAMS and SCAMS! Again, most require some form of payment. Poetry is nt being read today (except for the garbage here on Yahoo Q and A, which of course, is written by a bunch of children). Does anyone really believe that you can make money writing verse and poetry? Apparently so, judging from the questions that are asked in profusion daily on Yahoo Q and A.

There is some sort of national poetry organization that hold competitions once or twice a year where you can win money. I can't remember the name of the organization though.
Maybe these links can help you find it.

Probably Ron Paul on the republican side, and Obama for the democrats. Ron Paul embodies the values of both the libertarian party (which is much larger than many people realize) and the republican party, while Obama is a great face for the democrats. Without the media tainting the minds of the people, that'd make for an amazing race.
