Yep, let the heater take care of it for you. The slow constant rise in temperature is best for the fish.

Do you have a heater? It will take a little time to raise the temperature again, but slow changes are healthier for your fish anyway.

When you're doing water changes in the future, it's much less stressful for your fish if you refill the tank with water that matches their tank temperature. If it's room temperature, you can just set out buckets full of water, treat them with dechlorinator, than let them sit overnight and do the water change the next day. If it's colder in your home than in your tank, you can feel-test your tap water until the matches the tank, fill up the bucket, dechlorinate it, then pour it right in. That's what I do and it's close enough.

Your water temp will drop 3-5 degrees after every water change. Your heater will bring it back up usually if a few hours. make sure your heater is big enough to handle your tank. Don't turn your heater up to try and compensate for the temp drop. You will boil your fish when the temp finally does come up.

Your heater should do that for you....if you don't have a heater, you need to get one...tropical fish need warm water to live and thrive, thus the name "tropical fish"
