ITS ALL ABOUT JOHN CENA !!!!! THE CHAMP

John Cena has been the long-running off-and-on champion since defeating JBL at Wrestlemania 21. Online rumors circulated that the writing staff was planning on once again headlining Wrestlemania with Cena vs. the now cheered-for HHH. However, his quad injury which occured several weeks ago at the New Year's Revolution Pay-Per-View sent the writers into a frenzy. Since then, if you've been watching RAW, Shawn Michaels has been going through a phase of absolutely needing to win the title to save the D-Generation X name, now that he's on his own. This spiritual fuel, if you will, brought him to the runner-up position at the Royal Rumble, and also won him the contendership to face Cena at Wrestlemania.

Now, HBK is, as many have already stated here, up in years. It's likely that he and The Undertaker will both win at Wrestlemania, as a way of holding their final title reigns before finally retiring. I personally have no problem with this, because they both should have one last run to honor their careers; and, to be honest, they can both put up in the ring. Michaels, because of his lack of steroids in recent years, is still rather limber compared to some of his age-appropriate peers (there's a reason Hunter is injured), and has put on some of WWE's best matches since his return (i.e. vs. Jericho at WM XIX, vs. Benoit and HHH at WM XX, vs. Angle at WM 21... Hmm, I'm noticing a pattern). Indeed, HBK seems to steal the show at every single Wrestlemania. With Cena working hard lately to show the Internet smarks that he can also put up, I'm sure they'll work together to put on a great match.

However, for more justification for why HBK would win: Think of post-Wrestlemania. Who is there left for Cena to face? He's already faced everyone in the main event scene, unless they really want to have him get into a serious singles feud with Orton -- which actually might happen after the PPV. However, making the feud involve the title would just be too similar to his recent months-long feud with Edge in the past year (especially given Orton and Edge's current relationship). I believe that HBK will win the title, and then be sent into a feud with HHH upon his return. The sad fact is that, despite how entertaining they are, DX can't stick together forever -- and HHH loves being a heel (just look at his career circa early 2002; even though the fans loved him, he rather quickly turned his back on them). It is my proposal, then, that HBK's final big feud will be with HHH. It's quite possible that he'll be "passing the torch" to HHH, although I'd prefer he do it with someone younger and not as well established -- just look at the upper midcard scene on RAW, there's a lot of great talent in guys like Shelton and Carlito.

IN SHORT: For better storyline purposes, Shawn Michaels will win at Wrestlemania.

More than likely John Cena, although I wouldn't mind seeing Shawn Michaels have one last run.

as much as I like the two wrestlers involved (Cena & HBK) it wouldn't surprise me one bit if HBK won it, since when it comes to big matches he can't seem to be beaten an if you remember WM12 he an bret had a hell of a match an when he was champ he couldn't be stopped, an I think that if Cena does lose it then you can basically tell that he's releasing a new CD or even gonna be in a new movie so need to slow down his work...

hope this helps an in thanks be sure to check out my site: http://4einc.info

ppl and sites were sayin that Orton was suppose to win that was before HHH was injured becuz both DX and Rated RKO were going to have a fatal four way and he was suppose to win...Unfortunately HHH is out on an injury and they are changing the storylines and match cards but idk if that's going to affect Orton's story...Idk just because Shawn won last night doesn't mean that hes exactly going to WM...we jst wait and see
