Wasn't there talk of canceling the whole thing? I had read that it continues to lose viewers as each episode becomes more and more convoluted from reality. I don't know how the ratings have been, though, since that's what really matters!

I love the show but the fall season and winter season thing really bugs me beyond belief. They are going to lose a lot of viewers just because people are creatures of habit and after weeks of not watching on wednesday nights people will get out of the habit and miss a show or two. We all know that missing just 10 minutes of the show can confuse even the most dedicated veiwers. I am not sure it will survive this last hiatus.

I'm so excited that I cover my eyes during the promos and flip over articles about the upcoming episodes. I don't want to know what's going to happen until it does. Spoilers are just that! I'm glued to the chair with my TiVo remote handy for those famous "what was THAT?!?" moments. My dad hates it too because he claims it "leaves him hanging every week, it needs to conclude at the end like CSI". Serial dramas are just not for everyone, I suppose.

Not so much. The 13-week hiatus certainly didn't help matters, either. I think the show jumped the shark last season, honestly. I'll probably still watch, though.
