Thats normal, nothing to worry. usually they get very frightened around people. I mean, if something was picking you up that was 100x bigger than you are, wouldnt you shreak in terror too?

shivering noise as in chatting teeth? Guinea pis make this sound as a warning to something that that don't like. Most guinea pigs don't enjoy their legs and feet being touched so that is probably the reason why.

When you say shivering, do you mean chattering teeth? This is how guinea pigs show anger. Your pet is telling you to stop touching them this way!

hes happy, like he's purring. you are tickling him!
when they shudder and go bbbbrrrrrrrr it means they are happy. but if you hear him chatter his teeth, he may be in pain ( like a munching on a carrot sound)

its ment to do that ..does it also make a high pitched noise when u squeeze him
