I want to relocate my family outside of the USA. I do not want to escape the mostly wonderful people of this country and I do not wish to leave MY country, but I see no other way to live in peace but to move as far away from this insane government as possible.

I would like to move to a tropical area, but that is not mandatory. Really, any place that is not involved in conflict or motivated by money. Does such a place exist?

I just want to raise my family in peace. We do not need hardwood floors in our house, nor do we need to keep our Yukon XL-SLT. All we need is a peaceful place to co-exist with everyone else.

Again, does such a place exist? And if it doesn't, are we supposed to just go on a government initiated killing spree with the rest of those who follow Bush's lead?

Regarding destinations, I would never consider any European countries.

Before I read the other answers I was thinking of Australia or New Zealand. But no place is peaceful forever.

I would agree that New Zealand is one of the most peaceful places to consider.

Abbott, Texas. Hometown of Willie Nelson. It's still caught in a time warp somewhere without traffic lights & fast food joints. Matter of fact, I don't even think they have a proper supermarket yet either.
