Zeuz, Athena, Hades? It could be any of them. You can choose a titan as well since they're basically gods. (examples of titans are Gaia, Atlas and Kronos)

Hades...he's a very misunderstood character...everyone thinks he's evil because of many bad portrayals, but he's not....he's just doing his job in ruling the dead...and he's not the god of death....he's the god of THE dead....sooo yea....that and I truly believe that Persephone chose to stay out of love for him...

I like Proteus. He has the power of foretelling the future and also is able to change his shape at will ( which is why I like him best.) He is either the son of Poseidon or his attendant, and while I don't particularly like the sea, the powers of shape shifting are too grand for me to refuse.

I chose Heracles (Hercules) since he became a demigod. Also, he did the 12 Labors and became a member of the Argonauts.
